The Ten Points to Freedom

Chapter One - Loving One's Self

In our previous lesson we pointed out the Ten Points To Freedom. The main reason this was done was to give you a road map to follow in your unfoldment. I think you will agree that the best starting point is one that would start with one's self. We would put forth the question at this time as to the reason the majority of the herd have little to no respect for themselves? If you were to ask a member of the herd as to what it was they disliked about themselves, we are sure they would not be able to give you an answer without first thinking about it. In fact some would need a great deal of time to come up with some kind of answer. The answer we hear the most is" I'm not sure what it is that I dislike about me, I only know that I don't think very much of myself. "Can any of you tell me now, why this is so? Give a lot of thought as to why YOU may feel this way, if it applies.

Lets go back to when you were a child and into your adulthood. Did you have a parent, brother, sister, grandmother or grandfather continually tell you that you were dumb, slow or maybe stupid? At a very young age it would be almost impossible to disbelieve them. After all they were so much older and wiser and I so young and trustful. When you grew older and started to attend school did you have a teacher that loved you and cared for you, or did the teacher give you the feeling that you were falling short of what they expected? Would the same apply in high school and collage? Did you attend a church that constantly preached that you were a sinner and doomed to hell fire and damnation? Did your churches tell you that you were born in sin and needed to be baptized in order to be saved? Maybe the churches allowed you to confess every week in order to enter the kingdom of God. Could it be that the educational system gave you means of learning, without giving you the freedom to understanding and the ability to think for yourselves. Maybe the herd set up rules and regulations for you to follow and if you refused to abide by those rules you would be considered different and therefore refused to accept you as you were. Were you forced to conform to all of the above?

If you did, then you also believed everything you were told by all these people. Know their lies for what they are, lies that were intended to keep you sound asleep. Is it any wonder that when asked what it is you don't like about yourselves, that you have a hard time answering the question. You have been fed so much garbage by people who deal in garbage, and you believed it all for so long that you began to smell like the garbage. Then with a little effort on your part you became that garbage. Have you ever looked at a garbage dump? By looking at the dump can you recognize the different kinds of garbage piled on top of itself. No, it is impossible to tell what all that garbage consists of. By looking at your life in this respect it is little wonder that most of humanity does not know why they don't like themselves. That is the reason that so many can't give you a solid reason of what it is about themselves they don't like. They find it impossible to sort through the garbage. They don't have any idea of who they are. I trust this is clear to you.

Please don't take offense at the above statement as it is intended to illustrate a very important point. Do not personalize it, unless of course you feel as if you're one of the herd .If that be the case, is it not better to be aware as to the reasons' one finds it so difficult to love one's self.

Look into the mirror of the past and determine if you have been influenced by the teachings of the herd. If you find you are still holding on to some or all of them, then the next step becomes very simple JUST LET GO, NOW! THIS VERY MOMENT. Don't put off getting rid of your garbage. Let someone else have your share as humanity is out there begging for more all the time. If you recall you were told that it is in the interest of nature to keep you sound asleep. The reason being so that has a steady supply of food. Nature likes garbage as it cost nature nothing. It only cost those who are ready, willing and able to feed nature at a very high cost to themselves. Will it not turn people against me if I seem different. Most likely yes and so what! Dare too be different. If you lose friends from the herd you have lost nothing. However if you chose to stay in the herd you lose self. A master once said," choose you therefore whom you will serve, God or man. As you can not serve both." He also gave us help by saying" give unto man what's mans and to God what is Gods." ¹ The question is often asked, is love of self and self esteem one and the same? Without a doubt the answer is yes, you can't have high self esteem without love of self. There may be outer appearances that would lead you to believe that a person has a very high self esteem. However in the dark recesses of the soul there is TURMOIL going on that only the self can feel. They appear to be jolly and carefree and always seem to have things under control. Don't be fooled by this costume they are wearing. If it were possible to see this person when they remove the costume it would be very upsetting to you. You may find that this person is more insecure than yourself. Why must we play these games with ourselves? Do we wear our costumes every day so the herd will approve of us? Why do you need their approval as they contribute nothing to your lives. The herd is only a taker and not a giver. Take a good look around you when you're intermingled with the herd. If you observe carefully you will see that there is always a member of the herd trying to steal your vital energy. Then look even deeper into that soul and the soul of other members of the herd and it is possible to see their eagerness to feed others their vital energy for the sole purpose of being accepted by the herd. Yes, we do exist in a very strange and scary world. We can be thankful that most of humanity is not aware as to what is going on inside and around them. We can also be grateful for those on the path that know the truth.

Without the purificatory work and the knowledge of unconditional love humanity could not and would not be able to keep their sanity. This may seem unfair to some of you, however all of the herd has had the opportunity more than once, in fact many times to walk the path, but they chose not to listen to the inner voice. Please understand that we are not condemning them but only making you aware of what the conditions are in the world you live in. Some have walked the path and for reasons known only to themselves they choose to get more experience and go back into the herd. We ask that you stay balanced. It's your choice and yours alone. What of those who are on the path now? Those who are aware that this wave of humanity is drawing to a close. What if they get the urge to enter once again into the realm of the herd? Will they be able to leave at will and continue on in their quest to get off the wheel? We can not give you an answer to that question. You will need to come to your own conclusions. We can only suggest to you that you remember that they're is no one sitting in judgment of you except one. That judge is the one who will make it very difficult for you if you make the so called wrong decisions. That Judge is YOU, no one would dare judge you as harsh as you will judge yourself. After all, you have had so much experience in the judging of self and others, is this not so? If you judge no man or women, there would be no need to judge self. We have attempted to make as clear as possible the true meaning of loving ones self. However some of humanity's sight may be distorted due to the fumes (actions of the herd) that rise out of the garbage heap to cloud ones vision. We strongly urge you to NOT BE FOOLED BY APPEARANCES. We trust you better understand the true meaning of LOVING ONES SELF.

Dear father within. I ask that you remove the veil covering my eyes so I may better see the true motive behind the motive of the masses. I can then better see things as they really are and be of better service, first to myself and then to all of humanity. Teach, guide and direct me to better know your ways. Let my love for you not be words only, but a feeling of knowing that your love for me and my love for you are as one. Also help me gain the knowledge that there never was nor will there ever be a separation, of self from thee. Thank you for affirming my requests.
